Two systems, both installed by us
Two prominent brands in the safety cover market are Coverseal and Coverstar. Thames Pool Care is a distributor and installer of both.
Coverseal
Designed for safety and durability, from high-strength material resistant to foot traffic, UV and harsh weather. Strong anchors and tensioning systems keep the cover taut and fastened.
- Load: supports the weight of an average-sized adult.
- Security: a locking system, with a key tab to remove it.
- Finish: does not use the surface water cover pump, so the cover looks second to none.
- Fixing: all Coverseal systems are deck mounted.
Coverstar
A leading USA brand offering automatic and manual safety covers, supplied through Certikin (Fluidra). Durable fabrics and reinforced stitching hold up under heavy weather and use.
- Operation: mechanical systems automatically retract and deploy, so no manual handling.
- Load: designed to support multiple people, including children and pets.
- Sealing: automatic systems ensure the cover is properly sealed.
- Options: customisable, such as water drainage systems.
Both brands are engineered to meet safety standards set by regulatory bodies such as ASTM, the American Society for Testing and Materials.
